Structural Tube

Standards for Structural Steel Pipe: ASTM A53 and ASME SA53. We mainly produce various grades of structural steel tubes, such as A53A, A53B, SA53A and SA53B.

Applications

  • Structural tube is often used in general structure and mechanical structure.
  • Structural steel pipe works extremely well for manufacturing pipeline, vessel, equipment, pipe fittings and mechanical structured seamless steel tubes.
  • JST structural steel tube can be deployed in construction, such as hall structure, sea trestle, airport structure, dock, security door, garage door, strengthened lining steel window and door, interior partition wall, structure of cable bridge and highway safety guard, railing, decoration, residence, decorative pipes, etc.
  • Structural steel pipe irrespective of used in agriculture (agricultural equipment, engineering, material processing, machinery parts, etc.) and auto parts (car and bus manufacturing and transportation).
  • JST structural steel tube is applied in transportation, such as pedestrian railings, guardrails, square structure, road equipment, fence, . . ..
  • Structural steel pipe can additionally be utilized in machinery, solar stand, offshore oilfield, mining equipment, electrical and mechanical hardware, mining, supermarket shelves, furniture, school equipment, some others.
  • Advantage The actual other similar construction pipes, JST structural steel tubes enjoy several in design, use, construction and integrated economy particulars. They are of low cost and are be moved at most.

Packaging of Structural Steel PipeWe package our structural steel tubes with plastic plugs inside ends. We adopt hexagonal bundles of pipes (max. 2, 000 kg) significant steel bunches. Two tags are on each deal. We can also wrap products in waterproof paper, PVC sleeve and sackcloth with several steel pieces.

Parameters of Structural Steel Pipe

Item Numerical Value
Outside Diameter and Wall Thickness It should be in accordance with GB/T17395 standard for seamless steel tunes.
Length Hot-rolled pipe is 3 m to 12 m. Cold-rolled or cold-drawn steel pipe is 2 m to 10.5m.
Tortuosity

1. When the wall thickness is equal to or less than 15 mm, it should mot exceed 1.5 mm/m.2. When the wall thickness is equal to or less than 15 mm to 30 mm, it should mot exceed 2.0 mm/m.

3. When the wall thickness is more than 30 mm or the outside diameter is equal to or more than 351 mm, it should mot exceed 3.0 mm/m.

Allowable Deviation of Outside Diameter and Wall Thickness

Type Size Allowable Deviation
General Class High Class
Hot-Rolled Pipe Outside Diameter < 50 ± 0.50 mm ± 0.40 mm
≥ 50 ± 1 % ± 0.75 %
Wall Thickness < 4 ± 12.5 % (Min. ± 0.40 mm) ± 10 % (Min. ± 0.30 mm)
≥ 4-20 +15%, -12.5% ± 10 %
> 20 ± 12.5% ± 10%
Cold-Drawn Pipe Outside Diameter 6-10 ± 0.20 mm ± 0.10 mm
>10-30 ± 0.40 mm ± 0.20 mm
> 30-50 ± 0.45 mm ± 0.25 mm
> 50 ± 1 % ± 0.5 %
Wall Thickness ≤ 1 ± 0.15 mm ± 0.12 mm
>1-3 + 15 %, - 10 % ± 10 %
>3 + 12.5, - 10 % ± 10 %
Note: For the hot-rolled pipes with the outside diameter of not more than 351 mm, the allowable deviation is ± 18 %.
