ASTM A53/ASME SA53 Steel Pipes and Tubes

ASTM A53/ASME SA53: Pipe, Steel, Black and Hot-Dipped, Zinc-Coated, Welded and SeamlessStandard: ASTM A53/ASME SA53

Can easily provide different grades of steel pipes, like A53A, A53B and others.

Brief IntroductionASTM A53 steel pipe could be cut and threaded with specific technical specifications. It uses black malleable (soft) cast iron as fittings connected by screwing to the threaded pipe, glue a small volume of pipe joint compound on the post. ASME SA53 pipe with larger diameter is welded compared to threaded. ASTM A53 steel pipe can be cut by heavy-duty tube cutter, cutoff saw or hacksaw.

When the steel tube is forged, a black oxide scale or oxide skin forms on its surface of ASME SA53 hose. Because steel is subject to rust and corrosion, we often coat it with protective oil. JST uses black steel to manufacture pipes and tubes which don't rust for a long time and require very small maintenance.

Applications ASTM A53 steel pipe is mainly used in mechanical and pressure applications and it is also applicable in steam, water, gas and air lines. ASME SA53 pipe may well used as structure pipe, gas pipe, antistatic tube and fluid pipe.

Advantages

The actual control of advanced rolling process, dimension deviation of JST ASTM A53 steel pipes is controlled within the specified range. JST manufacturing process even further reduces the allowable tolerance range of ASME SA53 pipes.
On production process, there always exist some surface quality defects, such as flaw, scar, wrinkling, laceration, rolling burr and others. JST configures UNICORN ultrasonic joint inspection machine, automatic ultrasonic testing machine, magnetic flux leakage testing machine along with other testing equipment to detect obvious surface defects of ASTM A53 steel pipe joints.
Our company employs professional surface inspection personnel to perform special testing for your inner and outer surface defects of ASME SA53 ink cartridges.
For that inner and outer surface defects of pipe, JST professional inspection personnel are going to do polishing, removal, repair and a series of processes based on his or her specific characteristics. Those processes are done in compliance with standards, which absolutely guarantees the minimum wall thickness of ASTM A53 steel pipes and achieves uniform wall thickness requirements.

Performance of ASME SA53 Pipe

It belongs to rolled seamless steel tubes manufactured through thermal processing. Sometimes effortlessly do cold finishing for the hot-rolled tubes to all of them acquire required shape, size and performance.
The lateral side diameter (O.D.) of ASTM A53 steel pipe ranges from 6.0 mm to 323.0 mm.
The wall thickness (W.T.) of ASME SA53 pipe is 130 mm.
A long length (L) for the type of steel tube is 12000 mm.
